Continuing the journey of sustainable partnership, Nanoen had successfully completed and summarized the 4th internship session for students from Kasetsart University (Thailand), marking yet another successful milestone in the collaborative training relationship between Can Tho University - Kasetsart University – Nanoen.
This internship featured the participation of three students: Viriya Prasert, Chadaphon Wiriyakit and Atsarapon Thamnu. After more than three months of learning and working in Vietnam, the students have gained valuable practical experience. The program continues to affirm the effectiveness of the collaboration model between international academia and corporate practice.

Technical Internship Content
During this session, each student was oriented toward a specialized research and practice topic:

Ms.Atsarapon Thamnu and Ms.Viriya Prasert jointly conducted the research project titled “Research on Microbial Cultivation to Reduce the Start-up Phase in Wastewater Treatment Systems”, focusing on optimizing microbial adaptation and growth processes in order to enhance operational stability during the initial phase of system operation.

In parallel with their internship at Nanoen, the students had engaged deeply in academic research activities at the College of Environment and Natural Resources – Can Tho University.
Specifically, the intern group had conducted a research project on heavy metal treatment using biochar derived from agricultural by-products (soybean residue). Furthermore, they had directly analyzed core environmental parameters, including COD, MLSS, TN, and TP, at the advanced Regional Laboratory Center (RLC), utilizing high-end analytical equipment such as the AAS Analytik Jena NovAA 800D atomic absorption spectromete


The students have practiced in the laboratory of the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources
Through hands-on experience at Nanoen, the students transitioned from academic theory to professional practice, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a real-world industrial environment.
For Nanoen, the presence of international students has fostered a dynamic, multicultural working environment. This interaction encourages our engineering team to enhance their global communication skills and stay updated with international academic trends.
